Hello! I'm Katherine an independent Illustrator and Graphic Designer. I have over 15 years experience working locally and internationally with design studios with a focus on brand, the arts and education. I have spent 7 years as a business owner and Some of my clients include Busy Bees Nurseries, The University of Birmingham, MK Gallery, BBC Bitesize, LUSH, The New Art Gallery Walsall and The Smethwick Arts. I often choose to work on briefs with a playful focus; drawing on my background as a traditional Illustrator for design, creating a handmade or bespoke aspect. I also really enjoy working with clients where inclusivity and access are at the forefront, this demonstrated by my client list and the projects I have been involved in to date, I very much enjoy working directly with clients that I align with and I love nothing more than collaborating with good people. Alongside my commercial work I also help volunteer and run a quarterly Birmingham Illustration meet-up called PICNIC, supported by The AOI with other Brummie illustrators, you can check us out on Instagram (@picnic_illo) and I’m part of a drawing collective called Digital Nomads (@digi_talnomads) where we share our travel adventures and sketches.
